Storing Drums Set
Most drums sets are being left fully installed at a specific location. When not being used but still has to be ready at a location, it is better to cover up your drums set entirely with a large cover to avoid it getting dusty. Make sure the room temperature stays stable, not too cold and not too hot. This is due to many drums set parts can have decreased quality, or even break, if exposed too long to cold or hot air. If you store your drums broken apart, store them in a closed room protected from direct sunlight, in a case or special drums bag, and make sure the case is not being pressed by anything.

Transportation
Many bands bring their own drums set to their every performance. For this it is better to transport your drums with their suitably sized special cases or bags. Do not use wrongly sized cases or bags. Smaller bags will be prone to scratch your drums, while a bigger bag leaves space which can lead to your drums breaking when shocks happen. Hard cases are also available to choose, although it is more expensively priced and heavier to carry. Before inserting your drums into their cases or bags, remember to loosen their tune setting and some parts.
